This qualification is suitable for those establishing a small business who use well developed skills and a broad knowledge base to solve a range of unpredictable problems, and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources. They may provide leadership and guidance to others, and have responsibility for the output of others.
Target Group: Target group for this program will be clients who are 18 years and above, including mature aged clients who want to establish or work in a small business.

  1. Eligibility Criteria
    • Whist there are no entry requirements defined in the training package, the RTO requires the following criteria to be met.
    • Admission Requirement: Applicants must be minimum of 18 years of age at the time of commencement.
    • Academic Requirement: Australian Year 10 or equivalent.
      Note: Mature age students without the minimum education requirements may demonstrate their suitability through relevant work experience or an interview.
    • For students that do not have English as their first language:
      • Certificate III in EAL or
      • IELTS overall band score of 5.5 or
      • equivalent
      Note: Students may demonstrate their Language requirement through an interview or a written test in the absence of a formal certification.
      Note: Mature age students may also be asked to undertake this test.

  3. Standard delivery (Full Time): It is delivered over 26 weeks’ period of full-time study including 6 weeks of breaks and holidays.
