This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply specialised knowledge and skills, together with experience in leadership and management, across a range of enterprise and industry contexts. Individuals at this level use initiative and judgement to plan and implement a range of leadership and management functions, with accountability for personal and team outcomes within broad parameters. They use cognitive and communication skills to identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources and transfer their knowledge to others, and creative or conceptual skills to express ideas and perspectives or respond to complex problem.

  1. Eligibility Criteria
    • While there are no entry requirements defined in the training package, the RTO requires the following criteria to be met.
    • Admission Requirement: Applicants must be minimum 18 years of age at the time of commencement.
    • Academic Requirement: As a minimum of Diploma qualification in business / management or demonstrated industry experience (in 2 Years of business or Management role such as team leader).
    • For students that do not have English as their first language:
      • Certificate III in EAL or
      • IELTS overall band score of 5.5 or PTE score of 42 or
      • equivalent
      Note: Alternatively, Students may demonstrate their Language, Literacy and Numeracy requirement through an LLN assessment test.
    • In addition,
      • Applicants should have basic computer and MS Office skills (Word, Excel and Power Point)
  2. Course Duration: This course will be delivered over a 52 weeks (approximately 1 Year) of full time study including holidays and breaks.
  3. Pathways into the qualification
    • Individuals may enter this qualification after completing a diploma qualification or 2 years or more vocational experience in leadership and management roll.
  4. Pathways from qualification
    • After achieving this qualification, individuals could progress to Bachelor Qualification within the Business sector.
