This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply knowledge, practical skills and experience in leadership and management across a range of enterprise and industry contexts. Individuals at this level display initiative and judgement in planning, organising, implementing and monitoring their own workload and the workload of others. They use communication skills to support individuals and teams to meet organisational or enterprise requirements. They plan, design, apply and evaluate solutions to unpredictable problems, and identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources. Target Group: Candidates who completed Certificate IV qualification within the business Training package or have vocational experience in leadership and management area and would like to develop skills and knowledge in order to create further educational and employment opportunities are the target group of this qualification.

  1. Eligibility Criteria
    • While there are no entry requirements defined in the training package, the RTO requires the following criteria to be met.
    • Admission Requirement: Applicants must be minimum 18 years of age at the time of commencement.
    • Academic Requirement: Successful completion of Australian Equivalent Year 12 qualification or higher.
    • For students that do not have English as their first language:
      • Certificate III in EAL or
      • IELTS overall band score of 5.5 or PTE score of 42 or
      • equivalent
      Note: Alternatively, Students may demonstrate their Language, Literacy and Numeracy requirement through an LLN assessment test.
    • In addition,
      • Applicants should have basic computer and MS Office skills (Word, Excel and Power Point)
  2. Course Duration: This course will be delivered over a 52 weeks (approximately 1 Year) of full time study including holidays and breaks
  3. Pathways into the qualification
    • Individuals may enter this qualification with Certificate IV in Business or other relevant qualification or with 1 Year vocational experience in leadership and management role.
  4. Pathways from the qualification
    • After achieving this qualification, individuals could progress to Advanced Diploma Qualification within the Business training package.
